British Women Association, a volunteer run NGO, aims to provide a welcome forum for British women and their families when they arrive in Pakistan and provide a continued support network throughout their stay. The Association organizes varied social activities to suit all ages, from coffee mornings to parties. It also works to help charities in Pakistan through fundraising events, monthly book/magazine sales, donations of food stuffs, clothing/toys/household items etc.

Recently members of the British women Association Ms. Nellie Scanla, Ms. Natasha Tarapove and Ms. Karim Nurmohammed visited Zindagi Trust's Dalmia Campus on 15 th February. They were given a brief introduction about Zindagi Trust's “I'm Paid to learn” program and Ms. Saima Zareen, manager Education department, briefed them about the teaching methodology at Zindagi Trust schools, the curriculum and the process of teachers development. They also visited classrooms and interacted with the excited pupils.

By the end of the visit, the pleased visitors left with a lot of appreciation and well wishes directed towards ZT. Ms. Karim Nurmohammed concluded the visit in he following words:

“ It was wonderful to see children getting an opportunity to learn and their response to us and our questions was heartening.”
