INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS AT GIRLS SECONDARY SCHOOL SULTANABAD, SHAHDADPUR

14th August 1947 marks the independence of Pakistan. The day is celebrated every year with great fervor, enthusiasm and zeal reminding us the hardships our leaders faced to give us a free land – a home named Pakistan.

Zindagi Trust also celebrated the day with great passion. The independence celebrations were held at Zindagi Trust Girls Secondary School, Sultanabad, Shahdadpur. Mr. Hussain Buksh, Talka Nazim Shahdadpur, District Sanghar was the chief guest on this auspicious day. Mr. Salman Javed, Mr. Naeem Noor Mohammad, Mr. Asad Maqbool and Ms Quratulain Butt represented Zindagi Trust on this fun filled day.

The event featured enthusiastic participation of Zindagi GSS students in the form of warming speeches, tableaus, skits, patriotic songs and the National Anthem. After the celebrations, prize distribution ceremony was held for the students who have recently passed their matriculation examination with flying colors. Mr. Hussain Buksh awarded shields and gifts to the students who secured top positions in their respective classes to acknowledge the hard work put in by the students.

The event concluded with a speech delivered by Mr. Hussain Buksh & Headmistresses GSS, highlighting the importance of 14 th August and education. After the auspicious occasion children went home with sparkling eyes, high hopes and smiling faces.
