Akbar Khan, Consultant at Zindagi Trust, Head Office- Karachi and Master Trainer of book group conducted a two-hour orientation workshop on 2 nd of November 2007 for the teachers of I-am-paid-to-learn schools. It was an interactive workshop where teachers were exposed to the book group colorful Urdu books. The book group has produced colorful and stimulating Urdu textbooks, which are designed to make learning interesting and creative for children.Teachers were exposed to a variety of activities, which helped them to internalize the philosophy of book group books. The methodology is based on encouraging children to look for simple information themselves that encourage children develop creativity, awareness, confidence and imagination. Overall it was a nice learning experience for all participants.
