Welfare and social work is at the heart of any successful organization. When IBA claims to make leaders and professionals, adept and proficient at business, the IBA Community Welfare Society (CWS) plays its role by reinforcing the human side of their graduates and instilling in them the importance and necessity of community work.

Keeping its goals in mind the CWS, IBA organized a grand charity event to collect funds for Zindagi Trust on Sunday, March 8, 2009 in IBA University Campus, Karachi. CWS objective was to help the team at the Zindagi Trust to replicate the success story of SMB Fatima Jinnah Government Girls School in other areas.

Through this charity concert CWS generated a sum of Rs 450,000/- and donated to Zindagi Trust. Dr Ishrat Hussain was very gracious and presented the cheque to Shehzad Roy personally on Saturday, May 30, 2009 in IBA City Campus, Karachi.

We thank the Management and Volunteers of CWS, IBA for supporting Zindagi Trust in its endeavors to make a difference in the lives of working and under privileged children of Pakistan.

We hope that this partnership between the two institutions grows from strength to strength in coming years.
