The Academic Term for Zindagi Trust’s non-formal
schools across Pakistan ended in November, 2011. The
results were awarded in ceremonies held in the schools
to announce the students’ academic results for
the term as well as to recognize individual students’
outstanding academic performance. All position holders
were awarded gifts.
A lot of improvement was observed in the recent result.
According to Zindagi Trust’s internal rating
criteria, the progress of the Paid to Learn schools
was rated “Very Good.”
Details of the final assessment or result are noted
below:
A+ 69%
A 12%
B 8%
C 5%
D 3%
Needs Improvement 3%
This final result measures both the monthly assessments
(x4) as well as the final end-of-term assessment.
Four monthly assessments – regular tests to
judge student learning – are conducted every
academic term. It is really encouraging to note that
almost 70% of our students received an A+ grade and
only 3% were adjudged to be in the “Needs Improvement”
category.
Teachers and Team Leaders who performed well were
also recognized and received Best Teacher and Best
Team Leader awards along with letters of appreciation
given to motivate them to continue giving their best
to their schools.
The new academic term started on 12 December, 2011.
Students were excited to be in their new classes.
New stationery and course books were distributed among
the students. Academic coordinators & teachers
reviewed the scheme of work & the academic calendar
to make the term challenging and interesting for the
students.
