A strategic conference of Zindagi Trust was recently held to embark on new strategic direction for its already growing education program. This was a 3-day strategic management conference cum workshop titled “ Re-thinking the Future” held recently at Beach Luxury Hotel, Karachi.

The conference was chaired by the Patron of Zindagi Trust Lt. General (Retd.) Munir Hafeez and attended by other members of the Board of Trustees and the Zindagi Trust Management team. Among other who actively participated in this conference included Mr. Razzak Dawood, Rector of LUMS & Ex Federal Minister for Commerce, Mr. Tariq Kirmani, Chairman PIA, Mr. Mir Ibrahim Rehman, CEO of GEO TV and other participants who have actively supported this movement for change initiated by Shehzad Roy few years ago.

According to Shehzad Roy “A result of 3-days of intensive deliberations, during which everyone debated on various options available to the Trust, it was agreed that Zindagi Trust should continue its efforts towards education of the working children by increasing our focus on the vocational training program for our children which will provide tangible skills and a profession for them”.

This strategic management conference was facilitated by AASA Consulting, while the workshop was conducted by its CEO, Mr Zohair Ashir and Ms. Sue Jeffries, a Strategy Management expert who had been invited all the way from Australia to participate in this conference
