3-day activity of signing up volunteers for Zindagi Trust’s
upcoming “Collection Drive” was held at Regent
Plaza, Karachi recently. The “Collection Drive”
requires volunteers to collect discarded material from households
across the city. "There are various things that lie
around in our households that we don’t need anymore.
Small little things like a book, some color pencils, rubbers,
coloring books, markers, pens, newspapers, toys, magazines
etc." believes Shehzad Roy, President, Zindagi Trust.
"These things, although small, can be utilized effectively
at Zindagi Trust’s 36 schools across the country and
help reduce our costs and grow as an organization, at a
much rapid pace."
The 3-day activity held at Regent Plaza resulted in 60 passionate
individuals signing up to volunteer their time and effort
for the cause. |
