Students collecting Zindagi’s wishlist

A number of devoted volunteers have signed up for a door-to-door “Collection Drive” for Zindagi Trust. Through the drive, Zindagi Trust intends to reach out to the masses requesting them to give away stuff they usually discard lying around their households for Zindagi students. More than 25 volunteers - mostly college going students are going door to door these days in search of both used as well as new stationary items like Ball pens, Charts, Fountain Pens, High Lighters, Poster Colors, Scales, Stapler Pins, Calculators, Clip boards, Geometry Boxes, Markers, Pointers, Scissors, Chalk Box(s), Color Box(s), Gum Sticks, Pencils, Erasers and Sharpeners in different localities of Karachi. Currently, they have started off in groups approaching people residing in areas like Clifton, Defence, Federal B Area, North Nazimabad, PECHS, Bufferzone, Malir Cantt and PAF Base Faisal. However, with the passage of time and increasing strength of people on board, more and more areas would be added.

Other than that, the group of dedicated volunteers have also actively collected stuff from their respective schools and colleges, easing Zindagi’s cost burden.
