The first, of the series, of teachers training sessions started at Zindagi Trust's Girls Secondary School in Shahdadpur, Sultanabad on 11th Jan 2007. The facilitator for the session was Ms. Jahanara Shiraz, Coordinator Teachers Development, Education Department, Zindagi Trust. The workshop lasted for two and a half hours.

The main focus of this session was on lesson planning, its components and objectives. Reflection was also part of the training. This learning session will be followed by five more similar sessions covering other areas of teacher training like classroom management, role of teachers, cooperative learning, activity-based teaching, etc and will conclude in March 2007.
