| SMB Fatima Jinnah Government Girls School held its annual Sports Day on the 24th of February 2012. Around a 1000 students from Class 1 to Class 8 participated in the event. The school believes that extra-curricular activities play a positive role in the schoolchildren, and sports in particular play the most important role in developing their character and grooming their personality. | Students Shine in Inter-School Athletics Event |

| The inter-school Athletics Festival was held at the National Coaching Centre on the 20th of February 2012. 32 students from Class 3 – Class 10 of SMB Fatima Jinnah Government Girls School participated in the event. Fatima Jinnah School fielded a team consisting of students from Classes 4 up to 10. | Four students from the SMB Fatima Jinnah Government School participated in the Pakistan Chess Players Association (PCPA) Open Chess Championship, Zahiruddin Farooqui Trophy from the 2nd to the 5th of February at the Beach Luxury Hotel in Karachi. With 67 contestants from across Pakistan and a total prize-money of 200K to be disbursed for the top 16 positions, it was an honour for our young students from Classes 8, 9, and 10 to rub their shoulders with some of the best young chess players in the country.. |
