| Students at our schools for working children celebrated Father’s Day last month. The children took great interest in paying tribute to their fathers in different ways. They wrote and recited poems; read out letters addressed to their fathers; made posters highlighting their love for their fathers, and also presented tableaus about the child-father relationship.. |

| Student wins 2nd position in countrywide Poetry Competition |

| SMB Fatima Jinnah Government Girls School entered the “I Have a Dream” poetry competition organized by the Children’s Museum for Peace and Human Rights (CMPHR). The contest was open to schools all over the country and the judges saw over 3300 entries from 43 schools. We are proud to announce that a poem by Fabiha, a student of 4th grade in our school, was selected out of all these entries to be awarded the 2nd position. . |

| The students at SMB Fatima Jinnah Government Girls School enjoyed an Eid Milan party on the 12th of November 2011, to celebrate Eid-ul-Adha with their classmates. The teachers and school administration believe that co-curricular activities that make the children happy also re-energize them for their studies, so a celebration was called for students from Class 1 to Class 10 alike.. |
