Improv Acting
Students from our SMB Fatima Jinnah Government School enjoyed an improv acting workshop with comedian and popular singer, Ali Gul Pir. More here
Drawing Competition
Students from our schools for working children participated and stood out at a Drawing Competition in Rawalpindi organized by SPARC. Javeria won the 1st and Haseebullah the 4th prize out of students from several different schools run by NGOs across Rawalpindi. More here
  Teacher Development
With winter vacation at the school, the teachers at the Fatima Jinnah Government School were involved in multiple training workshops. Four teachers attended a 3-day workshop on Child Development and Effective Teaching with Limited Resources, and a 1-day in-house workshop was also conducted on Modern Techniques in Education.   Meet Alisha
Meet Alisha, a graduate of our Primary Education Programme for working children, who manages to bag the top positions in school despite having to work as a tailor to support her family.

PTM & Results Day
Results of the end-of-term examinations were announced at the 2nd Parent Teacher Meeting (PTM) this past month. It was a successful event with a sizable number of parents showing up to discuss their children's progress despite a city-wide shutdown due to a strike. More here
