Inter-School Football Glory
The Fatima Jinnah School Football team won the Girls Youth Football School Championship by beating Agha Khan Girls High School 1-0 in the final. The event was held by the PFF in collaboration with the Australian Sports Commissions to promote football among women in Pakistan. Humera Mohammad, also from our school, won the best player of the tournament trophy for scoring eight goals in seven matches. Details
 
Volunteer for our Summer Camp
Our volunteers are teaching everything from English conversation through basketball to recycled fashion, debate or aerobics.   School Cricket for Girls!
15 students of our school participated in the 1st Inter-School Girls Cricket Tape-Ball Tournament held in Karachi earlier last month. They competed well, learned a lot, had a great time and came back with shields, cricket kits and a renewed passion for cricket. Details.
 
     
 
 
  Environment Day
Teachers in our Paid to Learn network of schools for working children conducted poster-making and sharing activities to promote environmental awareness among the students. Themes highlighted were the importance of a clean environment, using renewable fuel sources, steps preventing contamination of drinking water, etc Details

Mind Sports Workshop
A workshop on chess and scrabble was organized by the Mind Sports Association of Pakistan (MSAP) for all students from Classes 6 to 10 of the SMB Fatima Jinnah Government Girls School. The workshop was held to promote mind sports and to highlight their importance in the development of growing children. Details.
 
Junior Coaches in Football and Chess
Some of our recent graduates who are waiting for results & college admissions have been appointed as junior coaches in chess. In football, students on the senior school teams have been appointed as junoir house coaches to play and share tips with the junior students playing on their house teams. The students are keen to work with them and it makes the coaches feel empowered and ready to take on the world. Details
