Zindagi Trust operates under the auspices of a Pakistan-based Board of Trustees. Zindagi Trust was registered in July 2002 under the Trusts Act, 1882 in Pakistan. Contributions to Zindagi Trust exempted by Commissioner of Income Tax, Company Zone-V, Karachi under income tax ordinance, 2001, Section 2, sub section 36 (c). All members of the Board of Trustees are volunteers and serve without compensation.

The Board of Trustees develops strategic goals and program initiatives; reviews and approves annual plans and budgets; assists in expanding outreach, visibility and donor support; and monitors the progress of the organization.
